What a blast!. My husband and I picked an excellent fishing guide in John Sappington. He had guaranteed that we would catch at least 20 fish or we would not have to pay. We caught the first 20 fish in the first half-hour and then proceeded to catch the other 83 for the rest of the time. John was friendly, knowledgeable, and knows how to fish. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife that lived near the lake we fished. We saw eagles and blue herons. We had picked a beautiful day even though it was January. I would highly recommend John as a guide and our trip was worth the cost. Wish we lived closer to Branson so we could fish with John again but we live in Georgia and it is a long ride. The cost below is the additional cost per angler over the first
2 anglers covered by the fees above, there is no fee for someone
riding along and not fishing.
Trout fishing Guide Instructions & Fly Fishing Instructions
2 hour-$50 for each person over 2 (max 6 anglers)
4 hour-$75 for each extra person over 2 (Max 6 anglers) per boat
6 hour-$100 for each extra person over 2 (Max of 6 anglers)

Things to bring: Fishing license and trout stamp (if trout fishing), Rain gear! It can be cool, especially in the AM if we have to run very far, to get to the fish. Taneycomo lake will be cool!! Especially if overcast.
Tackle: I will provide all top quality fly fishing and spinning equipment, You are welcome bring your favorite Fly rods or tackle, but it is not necessary. If you do bring your own equipment, please keep to a minimum, the less clutter in a boat makes for a more enjoyable experience.
Camera, polarized Sunglasses (if you have), hat and Sunscreen.
